Frequently Asked Questions: Pest Control

Do I need an inspection before you can treat my home?

We typically perform an inspection before applying any treatments. The only time we will need to perform an interior inspection beforehand is when there is a roach, rodent or termite problem.

How fast can you get here?

Typically if you call before noon the day before we can get there the next day.

Do I need to be home for my pest control service?

Nope! We typically stay outside of the home for most regularly scheduled treatments. Please be sure to keep all pets inside and to leave all gates leading to the yards unlocked. Our technicians will email a report overview outlining all services completed following their visit.

Will I feel secure with your pest control professionals in my home?

Yes! Each of our trained technicians undergoes an extensive interview process, drug screen, background check, and regular ongoing training.

Why is recurring service recommended?

We take a pro-active approach to protecting your home by using Integrated Pest Management techniques to prevent any future problems. Through this system, we focus on using the most effective elimination and prevention techniques while keeping the safety of your family in mind by using reduced risk application methods. This can only be achieved by regularly scheduled visits. Our overall goal is not only to rid current pests from your home, but also to keep them from coming back.

What sets B.O.G. Pest Control apart?

Years of experience (3 decades to be exact!) have allowed our technicians to develop a deep understanding of the pests most commonly found in Maryland and Virginia homes. Through this, we’ve built a strong foundation for our Pest Protection Package that allows us to provide you and your family with the peace of mind that comes from a pest-free home.
